No  they will stay and be forced to stand outside in the rain and winds in their macs and wellies to report the weather

an umbrella may be used for effect as it blows about showing just how windy it is

No they aren't They usually stay in well built hotels or sometimes even with residents of the city they're in. I think it is super courageous of them to battle it out. Since I live in Louisiana I've actually seen them like in hurricanes. They must get paid a h**l of alot to risk their lives...
