Are the words "I'm falling in love with you" and "I love you" 2 totally separte saysings?

I told my boyfriend this morning that I was falling in love with him and he told me that he was falling in love with me. Would that be the same as saying "I love you"? Or would it be different. I want to say those 3 words to him, but kind of scared he might scare off. I can't help what I feel.

Doesn't matter. I say "I love you" even to friends that are girls. Those three words are indifferent in my relationships.

Why would you tell him you were falling in love with him if you didn't really know what it meant. I would say it means the same thing. Just tell him he obviously feels the same way.

" I'm falling in love with you" is saying i'm soon going to be in love with you.

"I love you " means i have already fallen and i am in love with you.

They both have totally different meanings.  "i'm falling in love with you" means you aren't quite there yet but getting there and "i love you" means you are there already.  Figure out how you would feel if you could never be with him again.  I know it seems really bad but thats what I did.

its not the same thing at all.

It means your beginning to love him...or close to really loving him, and inbetween.

But once you say i love you its not final. But also it is.

If he really loves you he would say it back, if not hes still deciding =]

Dont feel bad if hes not ready, love doesnt always happen on time.
