Are the x.540 speakers compatible with my sound card?

Question

I have a dimension 4600 Dell. I found out i got SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio. Im not good with tech and idk if it supports the 5.1 surround sound speakers.

And another question, are these speakers good? Are they compatible? If not, what other speakers do u recommend? The price has to be below $100 USD

as long as you have the right cables, the speakers should work just fine.

Logitech speakers rock out with their roosters out. i have the 2.1 channel ones and they put out better sound than my dad's big screen. the price is really reasonable also
