  1. actually no they are not shutting down Y Groups but they are preparing for the release of Beta Groups.


  2. No, Yahoo Groups are not shutting down.

    Yahoo! Photos is in the process of shutting down. If you sign into your group and go to the Photos area, you will see a Yahoo message stating "Yahoo! Groups photos will NOT be affected by the closure of Yahoo! Photos on September 20th. Yahoo! Groups photos will continue to work as they do today."

    Yahoo Auctions - US, Canada, UK & Ireland closed down 6-28-07 and their account access will close 10-20-07.  

    Again, Yahoo Groups are not shutting down.

  6. Yahoo Groups is staying.  It's Yahoo Photos that is closing down in about a month.
