Are their a lot of bugs in canada?

There is about as many bugs in Canada as in the US. Well, not as many as in Florida, but perhaps Washington state or Montana, for instance. It can be cold there so you won't have any bugs for a long time in the longer winter because bugs freeze. They are cold-blooded animals meaning their body temperature...they just hate the cold. There's even bugs in Antarctica with special adaptations but they are only buzzing around a few weeks during the summer. Then gone. Just a bunch of eggs buried somehwere.
