  1. College Park isn't a good area - its down by the airport, so very noisy would be the biggest complaint.  Not the safest place to live, not a nice area to be in.  If you want to be south of the city look at Riverdale, Jonesboro or Peachtree City, they are all safer and nicer areas then College Park, East Point or Hapeville.

  2. i currently live in the Metro Atlanta area and College Park is very close to where I live. I would not suggest moving to College Park or any South Fulton County areas. There is alot of crime and the schools are horrible in my opinion( i attend a  high school here). I would suggest moving to Douglas County. I attend middle school and my sister attended her freshman year of high school there and really enjoyed the school system. It was more diverse and basically the school system was better. Other areas I suggest is Peachtree City and Fayette County.

  3. On section 8 you can't afford the Cascades which is the only nice area near college park.  With 4 kids I am assuming are school age you really need to look for the better schools and nicer area.  You want to avoid south fulton and really the SWATS area (Southwest Atlanta).  If you dont have a car and need to stay on Marta and a bus route  check out Dekalb county and decatur.
