Are their tornadoes in Europe and Asia?

how come theirs tornadoes in the United States??and not the whole world..How is it that different areas of the world have different kinds of weather???

Asia is more used to a lot of weather (thunderstorms/rainshowers) associated witht the ITCZ (Intertropical Convergence Zone) and monsoonal weather.

Currently there is a big tropical storm there named 'Cosme ' and another to the northeast called Tropical Storm Dindo.  They are both caught up in the monsoonal wind flow which is enhancing the rain,  wind and waves.  This wind flow is coming from the west and southwest and moving off to the northeast,  the path that the two storms will follow.

The ITCZ generally have winds that come from the east and this is an area of disturbed weather than can cause a lot of thunder and run,  as well.   Tornadoes occur there too,  with or without typhoons which is their version of a hurricane.

I do weather forecasts for the USA too and Germany has their own weather service called - Wetter Wetter...

Wow this is a complicated, multipart question!

1. Other places do have tornadoes but since the conditions for them are best in the USA, there are more of them there. The US has a wide range of climates, and lies between the warm and cold regions that when they meet, give thunderstorms the difference in temperature that power thunderstorms and tornadoes.

2. Weather is what we call the daily range of temperature, humidity and precipitation.

...a. Temperature is a function of latitude, altitude, nearness to a large body of water, such as an ocean or lake, and season of the year.

...b. humidity is related to pressure and temperature, which is a subset of (a)

...c. Precipitation is related to temperature and humidity. So it is a subset of both (a) and (b)

So you can see that weather is a complicated process. Everywhere on Earth is somehow different in some degree in these factors, so every place has slightly different weather.

;-D Climate is what we call the yearly averages that occur in the weather of a place. When you average things out you eliminate many of the differences. That is why large areas have the same climate, but slightly different weather, day to day
