  1. It is all about leg muscle and strength so I know a nationally ranked goalie who was a freshman(James Hartshorne, my bro's best friend) and he lifts weights with his legs.

  2. i would have to say use a combination of weightlifting, running up stairs, and the water jug or anything heavy to keep over your head while egg beatering.  My coach for college would have us hold a medicine ball over our head and go 30 meters back and fourth until we all sank to the bottom of the pool.

  3. u can use a weight belt

  4. When I was playing water-polo our coach had us hold a metal folding chair over our heads and egg-beater kick around the perimeter of the pool for 10 minutes at a time.  That will improve your stamina, for sure!

  5. Remeber no pain no gain dude lift weights.  You as a water polo player lifting at least 500pds with your legs.  Running bleachers and also sounds weird but works is leg lifs your abs really help.

  6. When I used to play we used to hold diving bricks above our heads and tread with those out of the water. Another way is to use a 5 gallon water jug and fill it with water. Let all the water drain out while holding it over head. Both of those are great ways to build more endurance and get the legs stronger.
