Are there ANY differences in the chassis of a regular 1966 mustang vs the chassis of a 1966 shelby mustang?

the race versions used frame stiffeners , bigger brakes and a 9 in rear end..

Shelby used a stock Mustang chassis, but did his own modifications.  He lowered the upper control arms 1 inch by drilling additional holes and added traction bars to the rear suspension.
