Are there ANY ways that i can improve the performance/output of my 2 hp yamaha outboard?

eg, changing the oil, spark plugs, new ....

I want to go faster....

the only option is the prop. a three blade is slightly faster while the four gives more thrust. not much help. are you running it a the proper depth? cavitation plate should be just below waterline.

If it is not running good then changing the plugs and/ or a tune up might be in order, but if it is running good, then there is no use changing any props there is nothing to do to a 2 hp unless you buy a 5 hp...that will improve it
