Are there IQ tests without math questions?

I want to take an I.Q test, but I'm wondering if there are any variations without math questions.

I score very poorly in math questions, I haven't studied math since the 7th grade.

  1. I'm not sure if your school system does this, however the COGAT (Cognitive abilities test) breaks down your IQ into verbal and nonverbal sections (i.e. Math and Reading).

I believe this test (http://www.intelligencetest.com/ ) also does that, however it does not show your individual IQ for math and reading, but more of your strengths and weaknesses.

  2. An IQ test tests all aspects of your ability. You can't just pick what you like so that you can increase your score. It does not work that way.

  3. you mean w/o puzzles? if so, lol! nope! but it's not real math. more of logic

and iq tests aren't based on your knowledge, just your mental ability

  4. Official IQ tests rely mostly on logic questions.  If you don't do well on them, it just means your official IQ isn't going to be too high.  Online IQ tests are very inaccurate though.  Here's one that doesn't have 'math' or language questions, but is all logic - again, it's an online test, so not all that accurate.
