  1. Oh Yes yes yes! you must come the suburb of Leichardt is about 10 mins from the city or Annandale, google Norton Street, oh you are going to have a ball, a huge Italian community, you should see Norton St on a big Football (Soccer) night!  The best coffee and food!   You let loose with your Italian and you will feel very much at home and probably spoilt rotten and introduced to all the family.

  2. Head out to Leichhardt (Sydney suburb). You will feel at home there.

Loads of Italians in Australia but most have integrated and become "Aussified".

You will have a red carpet welcome complete with papparazzi and brass band.

  3. Your other respondents are right. You will be welcome in Sydney. Also go to a restaurant called Il Goloso in Haberfield for great Italian food. Have a good time.

  4. I have Italian friends at school. They fit in perfectly like everyone else. In fact, Italians make up one of Australia's biggest groups of migrants who came.

If you're coming to Sydney, head for Leichardt, an Inner West suburb which is considered to be Sydney's "Little Italy" - many restaurants and the culture there is just brilliant!

I personally love Italian culture to bits! The food is delicious and your accents are very cool! :)

    G'day to you! :)
