Are there McDonald's & Popeyes restaurants in Sydney?

My husband wants to have our anniversary trip in Australia, but as much as I love the Outback Steakhouse, I want to be sure there are other things in Australia that I can eat.

Is it true that you eat kangaroos?

Yes you can buy kangaroo meat which is quite nice, you can also eat crocodile to.

What's mcdonalds? Never heard of that, all we have are steak houses, roo houses and crocodile houses...

We don't eat no roos here in the outback!  We eat gators!  

And they taste just like chicken.

Our McDonald's have the McGator Sandwich, Gator McNuggets/Gator Selects, Premium Grilled Gator Classic Sandwich, Premium Crispy Gator Classic Sandwich, Premium Crispy Gator Club Sandwich, etc.

McDonalds is soooooooo popular its not funny.. We even have McCafe's.. I'm guessing ur from North America as you say 'Outback Steakhouse'.. We have most of the fast food restaurants you have, KFC, McDonalds, Burger King (although called Hungary Jacks), Subway, Starbucks plus we have our own too such as Red Rooster (similar to KFC but not fried), Gloria Jeans (similar to Starbucks).. and i know of at least one Outback Steakhouse in Sydney too.. You might like the Hogs Breath - its similar to Outback steakhouse and is a chain of restaurants around the place

People do eat kangaroos yes.. The meat is really gamey..

We have mcdonalds, we dont have popeyes. whats that? Well we have KFC, subway, etc.. I recommend that you try Oporto.

Umm Australia is a multicultural country, we eat everything. I doubt it that there wont be anything that you can eat..

I never ate kangaroo before.. I live in Sydney, I think you have to order kangaroo meat, i havnt seen it much. I wouldnt try kangaroo, but i've eaten many other weird things.

Our burgers are different to yours,the meat is the bun, and the bun is the patty. KFC here is duck instead of chicken.
