Are there McDonald's in Japan?

I am going to Japan and I don't like sushi. Also I heard that Japan is pretty dirty so I don't want to get food poisoning.

There sure is a Mcdonalds, though the menu isn't exactly the same as you probably would have.

Oh God yes, but they're expensive.

Japan is NOT dirty. You're confusing it with China outside of major cities. Japan is almost antiseptically CLEAN!

Try MOS Burger instead of McDonald's. They're a lot more creative, and the service is great.

There are many Mickey D's in Japan...but there are MANY Japanese restaurants that are not dirty...also you're going to a new country right? well be open to new experiences.  just try smthn new

Yes there are!  The menu is not the same though...below is a few I remember:

Ebi Filet-O: Shrimp burger with special sauce and lettuce.

Teriyaki McBurger: Ground pork sandwich with mayonnaise, lettuce, and teriyaki sauce.

French Fries can be purchased in barbecue, seaweed, and Italian basil flavors.

yes and sushi isn't the only thing Japanese eat.  It's pretty presumptuous of you to say that Japanese are 'dirty.'  Hopefully you will gain cultural experience while visiting the Land of the Rising Sun.

if you're that scare than maybe you should pack your own so called "American" food! and FYI... japan isn't all about sushi and that's not the only thing that they eat! that was really racist and stereotypical of you to say!! If all you see is sushi when you think of Japan than maybe you should just stay home!  

Also... Mcdonalds is every where! Everyone knows that!

Yes there are Mcdonals in Japan, But there are some different menu items :)

They Mcdonals in India are very interesting....

I like the German ones though :D
