  1. There is a Home Based Career Center on the website below. Real jobs that you apply for online.

Medical Transcription is of course included – there is an online guide to becoming a transcriptionist -- but there are other non-health related fields as well.

  2. Hi Angela,

Your right,  A home job should not as you to pay money upfront unless it's a business that your venturing in.  but if it's just a "job" then no.  There are actually a few home jobs available.  Have you tried googling "telecommute?" on the Internet?

What are your qualifications?  What can you do or can't do?  What income amount do you need? Without knowing this it's hard to give you ideas.  Home based jobs pay minimum waged.  If this is sufficient amount of income, then take a look at this article.  It has a couple companies in which you can apply to "if" you qualify for the position.

If minimum wage isn't sufficient, then my idea for you would be to look into home based business opportunities.  Several different industries you can look into that will give you incredible income opportunities.

Here's an article that explains about home based businesses along with several industries to look into.

So you asked for ideas in your detailed message, and these are my ideas without knowing your qualifications.  I hope this helps.  There are plenty of different ways to have a job and work from home that are scam free.  A business (which can only become a scam, if you make it a scam-in which I do not recommend you doing), or apply for a postion where your job is working for someone else.
