Question:

Are there Two Groups in Cricket world today? ?

It is very clear that there are two GROUPS in the Cricket world. One India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sirlianka, Zimbabwe, West Indies and the other English Speaking countries like NZ, Australia, South Africa and England.

It is all down to dirty politics now. As ICC decided to host Champions trophy in Pakistan and the whole group plus SA supported that. The other group felt that they can not do any thing now but just to take a revenge this way. They have included SA also in their group of English Speaking countries which was not recognised before. They have offered WI to join the same as they believe that WI speak English as a main language.

Whereas India, Pakistan Bangladesh and Sirlanka now whole heartily support one another.

One question is that India and Pakistan fought two wars, Bangladesh was separated from Pakistan and if these two countries feel safe and love to visit one another countries then why Aus and Co. The whole world know that Pakistan is face the War on Terror because of these English Speaking countries. If today they start supporting and stop fight against these Afghani Talibans then it will become a safe country.

I request to all these English Speaking countries to not divide Cricket in to two polls as next time India, Pak, etc will not your countries and at the end we all will lose. If Jeff Lawson and family can enjoy living in Pakistan and the umpires and commentators love to go their then why you not......

Thanks and best of luck. May Good Cricket Win!!!

  1. You go get 'em OZ...

    I am not bighting though.

  2. I think you posted this question as an answer to another question. My understanding is that NZ, Oz, SA, England and the West Indies have all pulled out of the Championship due to safety reasons.

I think you are being a bit unfair with your comments. Being all on the sub continent the three nations will always support each other which is good because it takes the power away from one or two nations as it was in the past.

It must be remembered that there are 20/20 competitions in India giving the sub continent very lucrative tournaments not to mention other test tours to the area. As well the 2011 World Cup is being held there so I don't think the argument that the area is being disadvantaged is worthwhile.

EDIT: Rosh, you looked at Australia and South Africa's results against sub continent teams lately.

  3. Asian teams can beat These so-called Superior teams any time.

  4. The two Groups always existed. Only difference now is that India raises its head in protest. So do other Members.

Earlier, we just had to toe the line.
