Are there a certain race or group of people more predisposed to having a widow's peak hairline?

  1. Widow's peak are a genetic trait.  Anyone can have them and it can skip numerous generations.  Both men and women can have a widow's peak.  Widow's peak is the more dominant gene or trait than curved or straight hairlines so they are more common than curved or straight hairlines.  As for one group or race there is nothing scientifcally to prove that this is the case.


  2. The previous answer was a good one!  There is also a slightly greater tendency for the widow's peak to occur in Celtic/Northern European men than in most other ethnic groups.
