  1. WHITE   PEOPLE ! ! ! !

    What do you mean.............

    I am Mexican-Cuban.

A lot of my family live in Mexico and all of them are white,  all my neighbours are white, all my relatives and friends are white.  Their skin is as white as the snow and ALL of them are blue and green eyes......

We all have big homes, we belong to the country club of our city, our children study in the best private schools.  We have the best  hospitals and the best of the best for everything.

All these things have a very high cost.

Nothing in life is for free my dear.

But yes, it is cheaper than the United States and people is very friendly down here.

    Best luck.

  2. you are so uneducated. What color are Mexicans? Purple? NO THEY ARE WHITE! That question really shows your intelligence. There are plenty of Americans (both WHITE AND BLACK)  that LIVE THERE. PLEASE DON'T MOVE THERE AND MAKE THE MEXICAN PEOPLE THERE THINK AMERICANS ARE DUMB.  Thanks.

  3. Of course there are many white people here!

    My whole family is white!

I guess you were trying to ask about foreigners or non-mexicans.  About that, yes there are many retirement foreigners living here (whites and not whites).

Please be more careful on this. There are many white mexicans, it is not logical to us when you are asking like this. Some could get offended (although that is fool).

Don't worry on "mexican tax payers", that thing bothers only people in USA, not us. What we see is foreigners bringing its money and maybe its experience, we need both.

  4. Do you mean are there many Non-Mexican citizens living in Mexico?  Because there are MANY Mexican citizens with very ligtht complexions...the notion that all Mexicns have dark skin is just as ridiculous as someone thinking ALL Americans have dark skin .  Mexican citizens  are tall, short, fat, skinny, light, dark, redheads, brunettes and blonds.  But, ANYWAY...yes, there are many Americans, Canadians , and Europeans who retire in Mexico because expenses are less here and retirement income goes furthur.  The Mexican people treat guests in their country very kindly.  I have read statments that there are one million "gringos" in Mexico...but I believe that is greatly exagerated...more likely about 100,000...but hard to tell.  There are some locations with large communities of Americans and Canadians...like Lake Chapala and San Miquel de Allende...and thousands of little towns with one gringa( like me)or others with 20, 30 or 100.

Edit: I just looked at your profile and saw that you are latina...so i amsurprized by your use of the term "white people'...which  can easily be misunderstood as a racist term.  I am an American living in Mexico, and for all you know, I could be black!  Skin color has nothing to do with nationality, so I believe it is better to refer to people by their nationality rather than their skin color if you are asking a question like this. People can get a bit sensitive  and can misunderstand too  easily.

  5. Mexican people are white!! A stupid question.

  6. Are you saying that you wish to move to Mexico, to take advantage of the services provided, in a way that will give you preferential treatment over the locals?  They are the ones paying your freight.  Even private practice doctors have had the educations heavily subsidized by Mexican taxpayers.

To answer your question, there are many North Americans (Americans and Canadians) living permanently in Mexico or snowbirding.

For the same reasons as you.  When they're done getting looked after cheaply and treated the best, they sit around and complain about illegal Mexican immigrants using up social programs in the US.

  7. Yeah, I agree, you should phrase your question to white foreign people or something like that because there's a lot of ethnically white mexicans. I'm white and I'm mexican with pale white skin and green eyes.

Hrm.. foreign people. Well, they are kind of unusual in the specific area of Mexico City where I live in. We used to have a european couple living across the street and I know a few german families; but most white people that live in my area are mostly ethnic spaniards that were born and lived their whole lives in Mexico.

As for given preferential treatment, not so fast. Many mexicans are kind of hostile to Americans in particular, especially if you're ethnically hispanic and can't speak a word of spanish and act all dumb and cocky. But if you don't act dumb and shallow and actually bother to learn mexican customs, you'll probably be treated like anyone else.

Now, is it possible a waiter or a doorman might act very polite because you're güerita and attractive? Yes, but not because you're a forgiener, just because a lot of people think white people (especially people with blue or green eyes or with blonde hair) are attractive.

However, I kind of follow those physical characteristics and I rarely get special treatment just because of my physique.

  8. You mean white as in expats?

Yes, there are quite a few. And the number's going higher.

As for white people as in physical description, sure.

There are all types of physiques: anything from the very fair, to those with very dark skin. It's a mixed culture.

  9. I'm sorry, but with all due respect you have no idea how ignorant and idiotic you sound.

For example, Mexicans have European decent.  The reason why we speak Spanish, is because we were conquered by the Spanish for 500 years.  Obviously just like the "white man" took over the African-American slaves.  They raped the women and that made their children half-European.  I know this because I am one of those desendents from both sides of my family.

Not only that but there were English and American mechants hundreds of years ago and they did settle in Mexico.

And no, I will not get over myself becuase unlike many Americans they do work more than they have to and they deserve some kind of respect from you if they're going to take care of you, unfortunetly for them.

Finally, just becuause it's Yahoo! doesn't mean you can make such a statement.
