Are there a lot of Dunkin Donuts places on the east coast?

I live in Washington and all of these stupid Dunkin Donuts ad's are coming on tv but I have never seen one around. And my friend in Rhode Island says there are Dunkin Donuts every where. So why does Dunkin Donuts say 'America runs on Dunkin' when I have never seen one.

We need some Dunkin Donuts over here in Britain, i love love love donuts and i wish they had more donut shops.

Omg there are TONS of them in New Jersey! I live in Texas and there is only like 1 here that I know. In Jersey they are more popular than Starbucks.

good point, i live in chesapeake, va and there's like one or two... but seriously go to boston, there's one pretty much every corner.

Way back in the day my mom worked at the home-store in Myrtle Beach, SC.  She said that she knew the founder, and there's a TON of them on the east coast.  If your getting ads for it locally, it means their probably introducing a store in your area somewhere in the near future.

In Buffalo NY we have some Dunkin Donuts but we have far more Tim Hortons.

Yes - DD was formed in Quincy, MA so up in the Northeast you have LOTS of them. Your friend is 100% correct. It seems there is one on every block in Boston! When I lived in CT there were 4 in my town - at least 9 in the town next over, etc. They were all around. It just depends on your area.

A lot of times chains will advertise nationally rather than locally because it is a lot cheaper to do that. When I lived in CT I would see commericals for Sonic  & Cicis all the time - but we had none close by at all.

I was wondering the same thing the other day.  I live in Oklahoma, but I have traveled a bunch and I don't remember ever seeing one.  

Not like we need more coffee and donuts around here.

that is so funny! I live in Pittsburgh, PA and friends of ours came from out of Connecticut and they were like oh my- don't you guys have dunkin donuts? they said on every conner there is one. i miss them, we used to but they all changed to donut connections. Dunkin Donuts had such good coffee.
