Are there a lot of spiders in Belize?

let me elaborate.. i want to immigrate to belize, but am terrified of spiders. i'm getting the impression this is not the place to go, but are there ways to avoid them? can you recommend certain areas? are they standard spiders or are we talking spiders that surpass the 1-2 inch size and tarantulas??

Are YOU IN LUCK... if you are going to Belize to study Arachnids, there are spiders in that country that haven't even been identified yet... they are all OVER the county.. it a JUNGLE you know.

Im from here in Belize, well spiders we got loads of em, however, if you're tourist and want to visit the country and are afraid of them, have to worries, all hotels and places are well kept tidy so probs with em. But if you're into them, then ur in luck, come and visit us we got all kinds.
