Are there a lot of stoplights on Route 87 from Payson,AZ. through Chandler,AZ and beyond?

I am thinking of traveling route 87 from Payson, AZ.through Chandler,AZ and taking route 587 to I-10.

Does anyone live in that area know if there are a stoplight at every inter section?

Untill you get to Shea Blvd at Fountain Hills, there are no stop lights. After that there are three until you get to Loop 202 then there is one every 1/2 mile to 1 mile until you get to Pecos Rd. After Pecos Rd., I'm not sure, maybe a couple until you get to SR 587.
