  1. It doesn't matter whether there is or there isn't - because if you want one there will BE ONE! You simply start a meeting yourself and go to it. The AAs on board will show up. The crew will help you with the place, time and announcements - they have plenty of experience with it. You ain't the first drunk to be at sea! :)

    Isn't that simple?

  2. I was just on a cruise in September.  We traveled with Carnival.  And on the itinerary that they would slip under the door each night had a bunch of different things to do.  And one of them was "friends of Bill W."  and it was normally held in the library.  I did not attend however later on that day I met a few people in recovery and one of them had Their "book"  and we met up that night and had a meeting.  It was nice.

  3. I dont think there are, though there should be, considering crew and staff members drink way too much.

I do remember whoever while I worked for Carnival and they have a lot of themed cruises, having a cruise with only AA members, on the Fantasy I think it was.

All the bars served only soft drinks, there were lots of lectures and meetings etc.

But both Carnival and Royal charter a lot of themed cruises, evangelical, udists, g*y & L*****n, fitness, etc

  4. I don't know if all cruise lines have AA meetings, but when I traveled on Holland America they had daily meetings.  On the daily program it was labeled as "Friends of Bill W." and gave the location (usually a conference room) and the time.  The time changed depending on what port we were in.

For the best answer you should contact the crusie line or ship you will be traveling on.

  5. Check with the cruise line. There are sometimes informal gatherings, but these are not normally well attended. Look for a note that says "Friends of Bill W." in your entertainment schedule
