Are there adverse effects to applying salt directly to a mouth ulcer?

Can it make things worst? Is there a time when I shouldn't do it? What is the white thing marking the ulcer?

nope, salt is good for mouth wounds, apply it before going to sleep .that way the salt stays in it's place for as long as u don't l**k it way.

the white thing is the skin...
