Are there alot of orphaned children in Philippines? Does this country have orphanages? ?

yes we do have orphanages but these orphanages and the social workers are outnumbered by the orphans.

meaning, we could not cater, not even the DSWD, to the needs of these kids roaming around the metro.

we have a few orphanages,but recently,orphaned children are grilled into hamburgers

Yes we have White Cross, SOS village, other NGO or religious group managed orphanages. But not enough to take in all the orphans out there.

Why have you seen the endless row of street kids in Manila begging for money? Most of them have parents who use their kids to beg. They are not exactly orphans, but they do belong to the majority of the poor in the country.

Or you are looking into foreign adoption? There are organizations here who handle that.
