Are there alot of twentyyear old couple s w a child not getting along w mate. is there alot of this.?

There are a lot of 20-, 30-, 40-, and 50- year old couples with children who don't get along. Yeah, with a divorce rate around 50%, I'd say there's a lot of that.

According to some sociological theorists, it's because intimate partnerships and families have shifted from an emphasis on economy to companionship... back in the day, people got together and stayed together because a family was an economic unit... now, families are simply annoyed by most of the other members (because they infringe on their individuality), so everyone bails.

I'd argue that the phenomenon of failed relationships is culturally based, too. I mean, Western culture embraces the "bigger, better, faster, more" mentality... so many of us are simply looking for the next best thing. Relationships/people, just like everying else, have become disposable.
