There are a lot of cations they were advice to do and not to do before they left. And because they are a team the welfare of the whole TEAM is what the main focus is. Of course not.  They're in China, so it's not allowed.  Even if they did, it would be edited out before going on the air.  The Chinese government is watching and censoring *all* communications, including the TV broadcasts.

I think they are some who will thanks Jesus but not on television. Because it is for their salvation sake, and according to the bible, we should thanks God in secrect, less we would like hypocrite.

i think there are some christian athletes who thanked Jesus, but i dont think they said it on t.v.
