none. in the united states at least. jeep is making one (a concet ) with an inline four turbo.but they dont plan to sell it the public.i only read its a government job.

There is the Cummins 4BT, which is commonly swapped into small trucks that the owners want to have more power. Look up Diesel Power magazine. In their current issue they have an article about a kid that's still in high school who bough a used Ford Ranger, and swapped in a Cummins 4BT diesel to give it more power (In case you didn't already figure it out, diesels get better milage than comparably sized gasoline engines and make lots more torque, even if less horsepower).

Also, although there is basically absolutely no chance of you finding one anymore, in the 80s Chevy made a car called the Chevette, which was their econo-hatch way back when, and for a short time they were offered with 1.6/1.8L (I can't remember which) Isuzu diesel engines which, when paired with the optional 5-speed manual, got upwards of 50 highway mpg.

All of the diesel engine's are v - 8 motors. ( 8 cylinders )If you find one i would like to see it .
