From what I've heard, Americans hate Vegemite, but are there any Americans who like it? Is it even SOLD in America?

  4. I've never seen it here, only heard about it from Australians. The name doesn't help to sell it! It makes it sound gross, but then again, I've never tried it before either.

    and the problem is that it is not allowed in USA it was banned because it had folate and the Americans only wanted that in bread and stuff

    pretty weak excuse i thought.

  6. i'm an american living in australia, i love vegemite, but it is an acquired taste if you didn't grow up with it.  i've never seen it sold in america, maybe that's the problem over there....^_^
