While in Arkansas, we dug for diamonds at Crater of Diamonds State Park. Is there anything similar to this in Arizona (not necessarily digging for diamonds or jewels) - We would just like an archaeological experience in general. (This experience must be suitable for children, the youngest being eleven years old)

  1. Contact local natural history museums. They may have digs or similar you can volunteer on. A local museum around here was recruiting for a mammoth dig a few months ago.
