Are there any Australian Universities whose first semester start in September?

  1. The usual calendar for universities in Australia is:

    First Semester runs February - June

    Second Semester runs July - November

    In some cases it may be possible to start a course in Second Semester, i.e. in July.

    Some universities also run a Summer Semester over December - February, but this is not so standard.

    You may find that *enrolments* for First Semester next year start in September, but teaching won't start then.

    All Uni's start in March and end in December.

    All schools start in February and end in December.

    BUT, there are some courses run by Universities that start half way through the year. You'd have to search for them though, because I'm not sure which ones do.

    The Australian School Year & this includes Uni starts at the end of Jan early Feb. Some courses have a mid year intake also

  4. BOND university on the Gold Coast has three semesters rather than two and they start at different times than normal.  you could google it...
