Question:

Are there any Catholic home schoolers online? How do you begin your home school day?

My sons say their mother always started their school day out with the Rosary with them, then devotional reading, and then Theology/Catechism. How do you do it and does it work well for you?

Thanks,

Tom

  1. I would suggest finding a Catholic homeschooling group in Yahoo to get on-going support from them.

We are Catholic, but not that structured. If what your boys were doing worked for them, then keep with it, at least for the beginning. It'll be some familiarity for them in this difficult time.

May the peace of Christ be with you and your sons.

  2. Hi Tom,

I hope you are the boys are doing OK.  I know you are lost without Debra.  My children are grown. So I can't really be much help.  I know  Debra was a member of an on-line home schooling group. I feel they would be able to give you support and assistance.  I will try to find the link and send it to you.  (She may have it on her computer some place)

Please know her "Sisters" in our group think of Debra daily. We miss her terribly.  We also pray for you and your boys.  If we can help in any way, please let us know.

God Bless and keep you dear
