Are there any Chinese restaurants in China Town, London worth going to?

or are they all really poor and just for the tourists?

  1. There are some really good Chinese restaurants around this area so dont be put off by thinking it is for tourists.  

    I`m sorry I cant give you any names, but generally away from Gerrard Street the restaurants get better!  Gerrard St is the pedestrianised road through the heart of Chinatown and the restaurants here can be a bit touristy, with cold fold, and terrible service.

    Wardour St has some good ones, as does the road between Leicester Square and Gerrard Street.  

    Generally, away from Gerrard Street you can find some real gems!
