  1. In Nebraska, we have to file one of two options for homeschooling - one is for "religious reasons", the other is for "other than religious reasons". Statistics are compiled from those forms.

  2. Here are some great resources to find statistics on homeschooling:

  3. Yes

  4. im from the south and live in the middle of a baptist bible belt and its 100% christian homeschools...Not one thats non-christian unless you order books offline from a diffrent state...

  5. Same answer as I gave you previously when you asked, "are there any non-Christian home schoolers, and where do I find the percentages"?....

  6. Yes, of course there are CHristian homeschoolers. There are also even more Christians who send their kids to public school, and thousands who send their kids to Christian private schools.

As to percentages of Christian homeschoolers, it's hard to say, but I can tell you that here in Santa Clara County, CA, there are at least 7 inclusive/secular homeschool support groups and at least 6 Christian ones. So it seems about evenly split. Here in San Jose I am also friends with homeschooling families who practice a variety of religions besides Christian, including Jewish, Hindu, Seihk, and pagan.

  7. The answer to this question is pretty much the same as to your question about non-Christian homeschoolers.  Just go check your answers to that one.

  8. Same answer as I gave to your other question...if you're looking for specific percentages, there's no way to know.  Many states don't require homeschoolers to register, and none of them require homeschoolers to state their religious beliefs.

The only percentages out there are projections based on a pool of respondents.  These numbers can give a general guess, but they're certainly not accurate.
