Not new. No one has ever heard of those cheap no-name brands for a reason.

However, look on eBay for refurbished or older models (not used) of Nikons or Canons and you can save a LOT that way.

Bottom line, though, you get what you pay for. The poor man pays twice. You could buy three crappy cameras and have them all die on you or you could buy one great camera for a lot less that will last and last and take better pictures than any of those cheap ones.

Go to B&H photo web site:  www.bhphotovideo.com  where you will find a huge range of digital cameras.  You might find something you like and can afford.

Hi RB.... I am going to be pretty honest with you here... No, there are no GOOD cameras for $100.    Reason?   Because if you are buying it for $100,  how much do you think it cost to actually make it?  Maybe $20.00?  So now,  the camera is not a $100 camera, it is really a $20.00 and I can promise you... THERE are no GOOD cameras in that  quality range.  Make sense??   If you only have $100.00 to spend,  look around everywhere for a nice and in perfect / like new condition Used camera.... and Sony or Nikon or Canon or Olympus.  This way you get maybe a $250.00 camera for less than half the price.  Better camera and affordable deal for you....  A win-win.  In our store we sell used digital cameras for 1/3  price of brand new ones..  We also sell new cameras...  but the point is,  most people coming in, look at the price of the new ones... and decide on a nice used one.    Hope that gave you something else to think about.
