By this I mean... is there anything (other than rings, something spiritual or traditional) that Japanese couples who are in love give to each other as a sign of their affection?

I don't really know what I'm looking for here... like, if the Chinese Ying and Yang were Japanese, I would give my boyfriend half and I would keep half.
