I would really like to know about all dojos in the area around UTA, but especially parkour, capoeira, ninjitsu, or jui jitsu.

  1. I don't know, but I do know parkour is not a martial art, and I do not see why people thinkit is. It has no fighting in it whatsoever, only running and jumping.

  2. Parkour is not a martial art and thus isn't practiced in a dojo, neither are there very many schools at all (on a global basis). If you want instruction on parkour, you may want to search the web for a local community or people practicing around you. http://parkour.meetup.com/cities/us/tx/a... (that shows all searching within 100mi of Arlington) is a good place to start.

Capoeira is also a hard find as it isn't practiced or taught by too many people. Depending on how far you are willing to travel to learn, there may be some options. http://capoeira.meetup.com/cities/us/tx/ (upon looking, there are no listings for people looking to learn capoeira within 100mi of Arlington; but you may wish to look into some of the closer cities too.)

Ninjitsu and Jui Jitsu may be offered locally, and I would suggest looking it up in the appropriate yellow pages. For example in my city there are six listings, two being offered in a residence (which could benefit due to lessened costs and more hands on teaching)
