  1. Yes see this site

    http://www.provet.co.uk/health/zoonoses/...

As far as feeding guide see my site below. Feeding a young rabbit slightly differs vegetable wise than it would with an adult rabbit

you can also buy a rabbit guide from my site which i have not long written. I still have to publish it in book form so only acrobat reader format is available at the moment

It has a guide on rabbits and children as well as many other issues which i am sure will interest you

  2. Yes .. rabbits are the worst pets for children.

Even most teenagers can't cope with them ..

They hate to be held ..

they kick, scratch and sometimes bite ..

    they skittish ..

They need the same amount of excersize as a dog .. .

They live for 8-10 years on average ..

They need to be 'spot cleaned' once a day ..

and properly once a week ...

I would sell it and get her a fish.

Seriously, a rabbit does not make a good 2 year old pet ..

    When she's 8ish, consider a guinea pig ..

rabbit when shes 14. No younger.

  3. Rabbits are HUGE responcibilities! I would not have gotten one unless your up for it!

they must have food and water at ALL times. The dehydrate very fast, they hate to be heald, they need excersize every day. They have to constatly have the right foods. Not too much, and not too little. You need to really take care of a rabbit.

I would sugest to find it a new home if you can not cage for it!

  4. they are not the best pets for young kids, so just make sure she's supervised. they are just very fragile and can be extremely hurt if dropped. if handled improperly, they may kick and break their own back. the power of their hind legs exceed the strength of their spinal cord and break it. the proper way to handle a rabbit is put one hand around and under their chest and one firmly on their waist and curl them in against your body. the number 1 need to know is that they need a lump of timothy hay the size of their body every single day. it is crucial to their diet. other than that, they're easy. they just need to be cleaned very often. good luck
