Even though i'm only 33, i used to watch her shows when i was a kid. I also adored  "on the good ship lollipop" song. Listened to it over an over.

Oh, me! i am a big Shirley Temple fan! sadly, i only have one DVD of hers. "The little princess" and "Shirley temple Festival". A two in one disk/DVD-set thing. I feel bad for shirley temple when she was a cute little girl/kid. Did you read about what they (always) did to that poor youngling? it was horrible. Well, apparently, Shirley temple's parents starved her, kept her up all day, everyday, and almost all night. Shirley had a horrible childhood. She might look happy, but if you just look into her eyes, she doesn't really seem all that happy. Shes that good at hidding it, and at acting. Shes great! shes also a good person, for having such a bad past. I think she liked making movies, untill she was forced to. So yeah- I am a shirley temple fan. I absolutely am a huge Shirley Temple fan! I own every single movie she ever made on DVD (bought them all in a big pack at Costco)

When I was little I used to pretend I was her and dance around on top of tables and stuff lol! She is probably the reason why I got started in acting in the first place! It would be a dream to meet her!! Happy Birthday Shirley!! Is there a Shirley Temple fan club anywhere? I need to join one! lol =)
