Question:

Are there any UK phone & internet plans with a contract of <3 months?

I'm moving into Manchester for a short period over the summer University break, and need a phone & internet plan, but every single one I've seen so far has a 12 month or longer contract. And what I need is a contract of 3 months or one that is free to disconnect at any stage.

So does anyone know of a company that offers this? At a fairly cheap price too.

Phone and internet btw, I don't want TV.

  1. I use InPhonex "LiteLine" for $7.95/month.

Includes unlimited incoming calls, + 2.5 cent/min for all outgoing calls to anywhere in USA/Canada/UK, etc.

    (link through my profile)

Get incoming phone number in any of 40 countries around the world...

No Contracts, no minimums, no catches, only pay-as-you-go...

  2. PlusNet does a short contract broadband option - I haven't used it so I don't know if it's any good but might be worth a look: http://www.plus.net/residential/broadban...

Some of the options give you VoIP talk time too. Otherwise I would have thought you could have BT for the phone line as I don't think there is a minumum contract on their basic talk plans.

AOL also has a broadband option with no contract but you have to pay £49 to set it up:
