Are there any Welsh restaurants or restaurants that serve specifically Welsh food in Denver, Colorado (or within an hour's drive of Denver)? Please don't respond with Celtic restaurants and pubs unless you know they serve Welsh food for a fact. Thanks.

  1. I have not heard of a specifically Welsh restaurant in the Denver area. The Cheshire Cat in Arvada serves English cuisine but I'll admit I have been pretty underwhelmed by the food there.

  2. The closest I can  I get is an Irish Pub. You can check it out if you want to.

    Fado Irish Pub

    1735 19th St Denver,

    CO 80202-6001

    (303) 297-0066

  3. Try the Pint Pub at 13th and Bannock. It's British, but similar stylings. You can also try the Cheeky Monk, at Colfax and Pearl - it's a German twist on British food, so its that much closer.

Sadly, I haven't seen any regional British foods, and even in Googling for Welsh recipes, I fail to see anything that isn't typical at a British restaurant. Could you list an example of a common Welsh dish you're looking for?

  4. Don´t think so.

There used to be a little place called the Windsor Tea Room (or something like that) that served High Tea.  That´s the best I can give ya.

    Irish places abound!

What is Welsh cuisine?  All I know is Welsh Rarebit...lol

  5. The Celtic Tavern serves a combo Irish, Welsh, and Scottish mix of food.

(...and if I remember it accurately, it was pretty yummy)

    Bon Appetit!

  6. The closest the thing I could think of is SOBO on Broadway and like Alameda...czech food...isnt that pretty similiar?
