If so how old are your children and what are their names?

Where did you adopt them?

What made you decide to adopt?

Also do you have any biological children?

Thanks in advance :)

  1. I have three children...All teenage boys (Ugggg)

    M~ 19 (bio)

    A ~ 16 (bio)

    D ~ 14 (adopted)

I was told when I was younger that I could never have children due to a birth defect. I got pregnant for my oldest when I was 17. I call him my pleasant surprise. I did not set out to adopt my youngest child. He was placed in our home on an emergency relative placement when he was 5. When he was 8 years old his parents rights were terminated and we began the process to adopt him.

  2. I have 3 beautiful little girls, the youngest is biological.

    Savanna - 4

    Marissa - 3

    Logan - 2

  3. I have six children,

    Robert 37

    Kevin 36

    Vanessa 21

    Jackie 19

    Davon 17

    Cole 3

My younger three children were adopted through foster care, in the states of Georgia, Ohio and Florida.

When we adopted our daughter, we never realized the number of children in care and the number of children that age out of the system.

We felt called to adopt children with special needs.

    Davon, was born crack positive.

Jackie, has a low IQ, a reading level and vocabulary level of a second grader

Cole, has a 70 percent speech delay, fine motor tremors and other problems.

The older three are our biological children.

You didn't ask this, but we also have four grandchildren. LOL

  4. I have three kids.

    G1 four years old

    G2 three years old

    G3 two years old

I adopted my oldest from an open domestic adoption. I couldn't have any kids after trying for seven years. Got to watch G1 being born and take him home from the hospital. Got preggers with G2 9 months later. Three months after G2 born got preggers with G3. My two oldest are boys youngest a girl. Hope to adopt G4 soon.

  5. My husband and I conceived two healthy children and wanted a third. But we tried for 2 years and couldnt get pregnant. So we decided to do an open adoption. We adopted a little girl from a pregnant teenager who lived 2 hours away. We just knew she needed us and when I saw her for the first time, i literally fell in love. I knew she was meant to be mine and God had sent her just for me. Her name is Isabel and she is now a happy and normal 3 year old. She loves dress up and disney princesses and goes to ballet every week. I would reccomend adoption to anyone who feels they have a big enough heart to do it. It was fairly expensive, but worth it. :]

  6. Baby Girl - 3 (China)

Little Guy - 2 (Domestic Foster Care)

Ever since I can remember, I was reminded often that it would be very difficult for me to get pregnant, so once I was married and began "trying" it was not exactly news to realize that I would not get pregnant without medical intervention. There were many infertility treatment options available to us, however, replicating our genes was never a large priority and adoption was a natural choice for us.

We adopted from China first after 1 1/2 years of research and decided to adopt from our local foster care system after attending a foster care exchange seminar.

  7. I have three children, all girls

One is 15 and was adopted at 8 months old from India

Our second is 13 and was born to us.

Our youngest is 6 months and was adopted domestically at 4 months.

Like many couples who are first married we thought we would have some kids and maybe, one day, adopt.  Since we were temporarily living overseas back then we found we could adopt easily so we did.  We then had a child and learned afterwards that, according to the Dr, we learned that we shouldn't have been able to have children.  Miracles do happen.  Last Sept we decided to look into adoption again and now we have our youngest.

I think that about covers it all.

  8. We have 5 children

    11 y.o. girl

      4 y.o. girl

      2 y.o. boy

      1 y.o. girl

      4 month boy

We adopted the middle three from foster care, the are biological siblings, they have the same mom.

The boys are biological siblings also they have the same dad.

We decided to adopt when we were ready to add more children to our family. I have always felt drawn to foster care adoption and it is a natural fit for us at this time.

  9. I have three children.

    15 year old son, biological.

12 year old daughter, from adoption (bio-sibling to younger son)

7 year old son, from adoption (bio-sibling to daughter).

Not quite comfortable posting names here, hope you understand.

We had wanted to adopt children from the beginning. Our plan was to have two biological children and then adopt.  Life worked out differently for us!  We chose to adopt from Liberia, Africa after a lot of research and soul searching.

  10. I have a 2 year old girl i adopted when she was 2 days old. I don't have bio kids and nor am i trying to. I initially adopted due to infertility issues, but now i know god had a different plan to send me my baby to me.

Not comfortable with our baby's name on this site due to our privacy issue.
