  1. There are many of them, but I'm wondering how you know the gender of the child so early.  Know that you must talk with someone at an agency, a social worker, or someone you trust to help you make the decision that will affect you for the rest of your life, regardless of whether you keep the baby or place her for adoption.  As an adoptive mother, I will tell you that adoption is a wonderful gift.  I have both biological and adopted children, and there is no difference.  Here are some Michigan-based resources for you:

You might also want to do a search for a particular type of agency if you have a preference in terms of religion.

Take good care of yourself while you're pregnant.  That is the best gift you can give a child.  Also, please don't forget that the baby's father has a right to request custody if you do surrender her.

    All the best!

  2. Any licensed agency can help you.  Just type in "adoption agency - Michigan" if you want to work with a local agency.  Otherwise, just adoption agency in whatever state or in general.  You can go to ABC Adoptions or Adoption org as well.  If you are indeed looking for help, it is out there!  If you need further support or help, you can email me as well.  I have contacts all over the U.S. Good luck.

  3. i know there is catholic social services and lutheran social services (i was adopted through here) i dont know if they still exist or how to get into contact with them, but you may be able to do a search and find some info

    good luck
