No.  If you're committed to living in MSY but still desire a flight attendant career your best bet might be a charter operation that allows crewmembers to live where they choose and commute to work.  Alternatively you might stop into the general aviation terminal and ask around about corporate flying positions.  Good luck!

Not that I have ever heard of.  Like the person above me said, just because you base city might be like ATL, you could always hitch a ride from MSY, although the airlines really don't like you to do that for your first year because of the uncertainty of your schedule.  That's why they always ask you if you are willing to relocate.
