  1. apple cider vinegar with mother.  works miracles.  no exateration...seriously.  it's amazing.  read up on it.

  2. Pure salicylic acid will burn the skin and cannot be taken internally. There is a certain form of it in aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid) and crushed aspirin has been applied topically to warts and skin cancers to burn them off. It is usually mixed with castor oil. Internal overdose of aspirin is fatal.

Salicyn, however, is a component of White Willow Bark and is taken for pain relief. As a whole herb, the salicyn is buffered by the plant so doesn't have such harsh affect on the digestive system. It is also found in Meadowsweet, which is mucilaginous and very helpful for stomach pain. In aromatherapy, Birch Bark oil has a high content of salicyn (methyl salicylates).

Salicylates (salts of salicylic acid) are also found in Wintergreen, Poplar, almonds, apples, apricots, cherries, cucumber, grapes, peppermint, peaches, prunes and tomatoes.

  3. I don't think so, but I can tell you that crushed aspirins with a tiny bit of water to make a paste works great.

  4. salicylic acid is actually a pretty pure medicine, it's aspirin.

depends what you want to use it for

it can be for skin peels, warts, dry skin or lips...
