  4. Boston Beer Company, who makes Sam Adams, is still American, and is now the largest American brewer.  Molson Coors Brewing is a Canadian-American company.  They make Coors, Blue Moon, Killian's Irish Red and Keystone.  Pabst Brewing Company is also American.  They provide Pabst Blue Ribbon, Shlitz, and Old Milwaukee.  However, they are farming out the manufacturing process to the UK based SABMiller (makers of Miller, Red Dog, Fosters, and several other international brands sold here and abroad).  Make sure if you buy a beer that at least it's bottled here to provide jobs for Americans.  The best bet is your local microbrew, or Sam Adams.  Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company is a popular regional beer.  So is D. G. Yuengling & Son, makers of Yuengling Lager, and other variations.

    BORN AMERICAN!

    BUY AMERICAN!!

  5. I live in England, and out of all those companies i can only recognise one. Coors, it's the only one that's sold over here.

  6. There are nearly 1000 American owned brewery/brew pubs opperating in the U.S. right now.

  7. haha good question. i guess some of these people havent been watching the news lately. but ill tell you my one and favorite american brewery, its spoetzl brewery in Shiner, TX, made famous for there shiner bock. im sure youve tried it but if you havent give it a shot

  8. im supporting the local breweries lets go sweetwater

  9. Deeper investigation is needed by many to know who the ultimate owner of their beer brand of choice is.  As stated by others, Miller, Coors, and many others are now foreign-owned.  Soon Anheuser-Busch will be.  The sub-brands of these companies are therefore foreign-owned (Shaefer, Schlitz, Pabst, Rolling Rock...and just about every other beer that I thought might be American...is now foreign-owned...many are still made in America, of course, but the parent company is a foreign company.  I looked into about 40 brand names that I thought were American-owned...NONE were).  The only large brewery, although it's not a national brand but a 26-state brand, that appears to be American-owned (based on what I've been able to find) is High Falls Brewery, which owns Genesee.  Yuengling is still American owned (but of limited distribution), as is beer from the Boston Beer Company (Sam Adams).

  10. Yuengling Lager, is the oldest brewery in America. Located in Pennsylvania, still American owned. Beers pretty good, if you enjoy lager. I prefer Sam Adam's over them.

  11. their are not any more american owned or american beer brewing companys in the us i believe. miller south african brewing company, coors canada, bud belgem ,

  12. Let's get some things straight....

    1. Coors? No, Coors/molson is not All American, Molson is Canadian. So there goes Blue Moon, Killian's, (made by Coors). Noe Coors has Merged with...

    2. Miller, not american. Owned by South Africans.  oh and Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company  is now owned by SABMiller.

So if we are going with All American Breweries, stick with your craft/micro breweries.
