Are there any amusement places in Jackson, MS?

I remembered that I read on an online article that a waterpark near Jackson, MS will be closed this year. I wondered would it be possible for the waterpark to be reopened in a new location, and will Mississippi have some amusement parks in the future? Also, I would like to see that Jackson, MS have some more movie theaters in the city.
