I am doing a school project and need to interview some sort of animal conservationist (doesn't matter what career as long as it is in that area) with ten questions I thought of.

If you are interested please leave your email below so I can submit the questions to you. Also include what field of animal/wildlife conervation you are in, thanks :)

  1. post this in the Hunting section. Hunters are the biggest contributors to animal conservation

  2. Sure..I'll answer them..I work as a ornithologist/wildlife biologist studying endangered and declining bird species.

  3. No problem, as a Park Manager here in Florida, I manage native habitats. The main tool we land managers use is prescribed fire; we have fire dependent communities with fire-adapted species.

By applying fire the right way, at the right time our efforts to preserve and manage endangered scrub habitat for the benefit of Florida Scrub Jays, an umbrella specie, end up also helping to preserve gopher tortoises, a keystone specie.  This also benefits many other animals and plants that are still hanging on.

You should be able to email your questions to the address associated with this site.
