  1. You can ride anything that has the strength and body integrity to hold you up. Training it to let you, however is where the fun starts... ;) I think I've seen photos of people riding just about everything with hair on it, and even feathers...

  2. Elephants

    Mules

    Ostriches

    Donkeys

    Camels

There are prolly more, but I can't think of them at the moment.

    I hope I helped.

  3. Don't forget reindeer!

We may find that odd in our culture, but in some Arctic cultures, it's very common.  I know someone who was born and raised in Northern Finland.  There were several reindeer farms in her town.  When she moved to the United States, she had a really hard time thinking of reindeer as "wild animals".

I've also seen petite women ride lions and tigers for circus attractions.  Some people have also ridden zebras, but they are notoriously difficult to gentle and train.

Of course, there are the common mounts:

    camels

    elephants

    donkeys and asses and mules

    onagars

    llamas

    oxen

    yaks

    novelty mounts:

    bulls and steer and cows

    ostriches

    bison

    water buffalo

    St. Bernard dogs

    giraffes

    bears

dolphins and orcas and porpoises (little known fact that orcas, aka killer whales, are actually dolphins)

    tortoises

    sea turtles

  4. Elephatn, donkey, camel, and yes it's true but you can train a cow/bull for riding. There is actually a few places that sell green broke texas long horn cows/bulls.

  5. Ostrich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Elephants, Ostriches, Camels, Zebra (Stripes), Donky's, Bison, Waterbuffalo, Cattle (theres a guy around here who rides a Brahmn Bull), Llamas, Bears (have seen it..I would not recommend it though!)

Hogs, whales, dolphins and I know I am missing some.

Most of these are obviously not meant to be ridden normally, but het..you *could* ride them with trust and training.

  7. all the bovine breeds - cows, bulls, steers

    elephants

    zebras

    mules

    donkeys

    dolphins

    camels

    reindeer

    bears

    buffalo

anything large enough to carry 150 pounds basically.

  8. Elephants

cows (yes i know you are saying "what, a cow? Never!" but it is possible)

    donkey

    mule

    cammel

llama (if you are under 40 lbs)

Border collies by that one little monkey

    Bulls and cows
