Are there any artists who have made alterations to photos by sketching, painting, sticking things on etc?

I am doing an art project, as a little bit of artist research i need to know some artists who have made added to photos in some way. in my collage im doing many techniques, one of which is a photo which i am drawing over, and other which i am painting over

Many, many artists have done that.  Look up Marcel Duchamp sometime.

yes, i've done a million...

hand tinting is fun, and so is scratching things in with a nail.  i one time melted the negative of my photo and made a print from it and that turned out cool... there are a lot of things you can do.  adding things from a magazine is fun too.
