Are there any awareness groups for the controversy of bottled water?

I am doing this for a project and any help is greatly appreciated.

so far there is still indecision if bottle water is a controversy.  in certain countries yes.  eg india, indonesia, bangladesh but no alternative. usa - its 50-50. too much mineral that may affect body parts.  filtration process etc.  

alternative is collect rainwater or upstream river water.
